Weekend Tweaking... Updated ~ more Mya pics

I will warn you now, it is a long one... but loads of visuals for you... grab your coffee.

I had great intentions this weekend of just taking it easy and resting... yeah right!  I need someone to glue my butt to the chair,  I just can't sit still.

I decided I was going to clean my Store room,  you know that stuff that landed back down there from the booth, oh yes it is still in boxes down there but that didn't happen either. I ended up finding places in my house for stuff I am trying to get rid of. I think I need to make some popcorn and curl up in front of the TV and watch that Hoarding show about a hundred more times.

Here are some pics of a few things that landed back upstairs... and of course when you move one thing, you know what that means... you are tweaking the whole house again.   Hope you enjoy...

vignette on the kitchen island.... I love mustard crocks and old scales... can you tell?

my girlfriend gave me this cabinet a few years ago that hangs in my Washroom...
I always intended to change those knobs to...

the porcelain ones, I like it much better now... I buy these knobs on Ebay by the dozen... I have found more uses for these than any other purchase... It just screams prim to me.

I paired my little rusty wagon with this prim horse that I have had forever... added some prim ragballs and it is now resting nicely on my fireplace

painted and re-framed this stitchery...

this never sold at the booth, I just didn't have the heart to part with it... so... in my entrance it landed... I added the little shelf brackets to cover the holes that were left behind from a shelf I took down...

dragged up the rusty barrel top and it landed in my washroom along with one of my butter churns that I just couldn't find a spot for... and guess what is hiding inside... oh yeah, now you know where to look for the toilet paper...

blanket crane hung up in the bedroom... found the woven fabric on Ebay finally...

my thrifted quilts and foot warmers on a bench at the end of my bed...

dragged these upstairs and found the perfect spot for them above my bed...

the crock found a spot on a bedroom shelf

not sure if I posted this before...
I found this ironing board/step stool/chair for $20.00 at a garage sale last year...

you know I have a strong weakness for salt glaze pottery...
I really wasn't going to pass up this tea pot for $5.00 at the thrift store.

printer's drawer in my bedroom... a perfect place for all those tiny treasures

the other wall in my bedroom...

a dear friend gave me this horse and buggy and I just had to find a spot for it... It landed on a table in my bedroom below my TV shelf.. I hung the board in the corner to hide all the cables

this basket of baskets is tucked in under the table below the horse and buggy...

these two cups are very dear to me and well over a hundred years old... I think of Clarence and Cyril everytime I look at them

I added the star above this stitchery...

added some height, don't you think?

another old scale and candle holders that were my Father's with my homemade grunge candles...

this display sits on my toilet tank... you may recognize the box I made from a recipe box...

Well that is it... my legs just about fell off by the time all this was done... up and down the stairs a million times... who needs a twenty minute workout when you can tweak and burn a million calories... lol

"I'm watching you Gramma"

and of course we just couldn't close without a few cute pics of our sweet Mya...

now isn't that a face of an Angel...
I got to hold for three hours on Friday, oh what a wonderful feeling... I could just stare at her forever.

this one just cracked me up... so cute

Telling Daddy stories...

I think I will just lay here and relax a bit...
check out the hands... lol... she did that herself.
This picture is actually a little freaky... my Mother used to do that with her hands when she slept.

UPDATE: as of today Nov. 24th, Mya now weighs in at "8" lbs... she is doing so well.

Well I hope I haven't bored you too much and you are all preparing for your big day on Thursday...

To all my American friends, I would like to wish you a Blessed Thanksgiving, may there be many things to be thankful for as you reflect back on your year.

Thanks so much for stopping by... would love to hear your comments.
Have a great day...
Hugs, Deb

Denise... I'm not giving up any of MY gorilla glue! :)
Deb... you have been busy. Everything looks very proper prim!
You're bringing stuff up, I've spent the morning taking things down to the basement, trying to clear out stuff for the festivities this week.
great job! Glad you had so much to work with.

Denise and Gail I think this butt is going to need something stronger than Gorilla glue... lol

Don't worry Gail, give me another month and I will get overwhelmed again and be carrying right back downstairs. Oh the thought of bringing "UP" Christmas decorations is making my legs hurt all over again. When does it end??

Thanks all for your sweet comments. I appreciate you taking the time.

Big Hugs, Deb

What a little angel she is.....
I am envious that you have such a precious little one to cuddle with.
All your work is paying off. It looks marvelous. I would love to have a blanket crane myself but never see anything like it around here. Being from the Midwest has many advantages but prim shops aren't one of them!
I also love scales and have several sets. I've never seen the caramel crocks before.
Hope you have a peaceful weekend.

Loving all your tweaks girlfriend!
You really don't know how to take it easy, do you? I'm pretty sure you're right about gorilla glue, it wouldn't stand a chance with you!
Give some extra kisses to that precious little girl for me next time you see her, ok?
And btw, I count you among my blessings as I look back over the last year and give thanks... :)
