this lamp just reminded me of an umbrella... I just couldn't fall in love with it... all you shabby girls wipe your tears...
several coats of red - black - red - black - antique metallic paint - it came to life... then it was time to tackle the shade...I think that was one of the easiest things I have ever painted...
Now that is more like it...not bad for a "shabby" little lamp... tip... to add a little interest to a plain lamp... add a berry ring
(don't be looking in the corner for dust bunnies, Mom... I chased them out of there before I took the picture)
