Oh what is a girl to do... I have a hour lunch and a thrift store 2 blocks away... do I stay in and behave myself or do I go out and spend money... well you guessed it... out I go and spend money... some days I eat and others I buy treasures... I am lying most days I buy... my fat cells are hanging on for dear life... you can't eat treasures... these are the new treasures I found today...

this is a large oak mirror in excellent condition, needs a good cleaning that is about all... very simple lines...would fit in nicely in a mission style...  now the million dollar question is... paint or not to paint... what do you think?... if your answer is paint... what colour? oh I know too many questions but please I could really use your help with this baby.

someone took the trouble to strip this cute table... bonus... I hope they aren't looking because it is going to be introduced to Mr. Paintbrush... I was at the right place at the right time... they just put this little guy out... I am sure it wouldn't have lasted long...

a nice pair of bow legs... haha... no really they are old beehive mill bobbins... I have several pairs of these... they make the best shelf decorations...

a triple metal frame... very cute... just add your favourite pics... I love when I don't have to do anything to a piece... that doesn't happen too often...

a wrought iron birdcage candle holder (that's what they call those scrolly thingys in the middle)... I just can't resist wrought iron...

10 little well used brass knobs... you can never have enough of these little guys

a solid brass candle holder... this is a good size... it will look good aged black with one of my grunge candles in it...maybe some berries or rosehips... a glass globe might just finish it off if I can find one to fit it... oh darn I have to go shopping again... see this is how it starts...

a cute little sewing machine drawer... front view

side view... the beard is raised... it might be a bit difficult to scrape this off... it might have to do double duty... the other side is blank ... well that is it for today folks... I think I will eat tomorrow and stay away from the stores... I have enough to keep me busy this weekend...

They are putting up a new complex right beside where I work. My heart says...please be a prim shop, an antique shop or better yet a thrift store....please, please, please....

Now my brain (and wallet)is saying...no, no, no...lets wish for a store you have no interest in!

Oh Beverly be careful what you wish for... you may just have to quit your job because it cost too much to go to work...

Wow...you scored! Those are great finds. I especially like the triple picture frame...love when you don't have to do much (I have enough of that in my garage still). Lucky you, having such great stores so close.

You find some pretty amazing stuff! My mom had a table like that one for a long time. It was nice to see that, it made me think of my childhood!

Hope you are having a great day...stopping by from SITS.
