Six Acres of Paradise...

On the road again...
after we left Rose we headed east to our next unknown destination..
we literally found a little piece of paradise tucked away in the small town of Bridgewater, NY...

this is the view from our campsite...

the other end of the small lake, so pretty

when you get bored... you can paddle around the lake...
we took the red one out for a spin today...

when the humidity level gets unbearable you can take a dip at the beach...

or just dangle your feet off the dock...

a nice quiet spot to have your morning coffee...

or have a chat with the neighbours... where did everyone go?
no more fireworks, I guess they all went home... so sad

can we offer you an appetizer...
no fish died for this pic

and if you happen to have a Treasure Mobile so much the better...
life is good

one good thing about road trips are garage sales...
I hit the jackpot at this one...
I was screaming like a girl under my breath can't let them know you are that excited
do you recognize this yet... check out that date... August 30, 1887,
you prim girls should know this

do you know what it is now... sorry for the bad pic...
if I was home it would already be mounted to my wall

not just one but two... are you ready for the price... $10.00 each
patience pays off sometimes...
I have searched everywhere for one of these... they are a rare commodity in my area... the last one I found was $95.00, I almost weakened and bought it at that price... it pays to be cheap

an old wall paper brush... .50 cents

aren't these the cutest little blocks and yes .25 cents for the three of them

the mystery tool... the guy told us it was for lacing leather footballs...
sounded good to me for .50 cents

Granny J, you aren't the only one on the lookout for crocks...
this is an oldie... and he actually only charged me $2.00 for it

The markings say...
CROSSE & BLACKWELL
PURVEYORS TO THE QUEEN - LONDON

does this look familiar...
one of the treasures Rose stuck in my goody box...

I saved the best for last...
this is my most valuable treasure, not because it has monetary value but it now has sentimental value... my dear friend Rose gave me these because I was her inspiration behind the black on the chair... I will cherish these forever... they are as special to me as you are.

I hope you enjoyed the journey...

I have to get out of this hot sun... I keep losing my signal and have to come to a spot in the direct sun... hope you are all staying cool.

Big Hugs to all... and thanks for popping  by...

I'm a little prim ignorant, is that an herb dryer or a clothes dryer?? I love love love your crock, if you make it to Maine let me know, I won't put you to work, LOL.

You're a true garage saler. Love all your finds but especially the clothes driers. You never see them around here except in antique stores and they're very expensive. That crock is really cool. If you leave right now and head for the midwest you have time to swing by our place. I won't promise I won't make you work though. lol

That place looks so beautiful! Gotta tell ya, I'm feeling just a tad bit guilty for making u work the other day. Just a tad, then I look at my shed and garage walls and say, nah! I don't feel real guilty about it at all, you left your mark!
So glad you love the chair and teapot!
You truly earned it. Thanks again so much, my friend.

It's me again, I finally got to Rose's blog to see what you and your wand did, if you ever come to Maine you MIGHT have to do some work since you did such a great job at her house, LOL. What a great friend you are!
