My Surrogate Mya... (updated Photo)

As you all know I have become a Gramma and I couldn't be more thrilled... it is going to be a bit before I can actually hold my sweet little Angel but with each day that passes she is getting stronger and stronger.  She has started gaining weight, which we all know is the best news yet.  She is off all support other than a feeding tube.  She is doing remarkably well considering her size and age.  The Doctor's and Nurses are absolutely amazed at how strong she is.  Proof that prayer does work.  Mya has so many Angels watching over her right now. 

My sister was heartbroken for me that I couldn't hold Mya or see her yet so she came by the other night with this... now if you knew my sister this is so her... she never had dolls while growing up she always had monkeys, so this seemed so appropriate coming from her.  She crocheted the bib and the bow to dress her up a bit...lol... Thanks Pam I love her. 

look at that sweet little smile... it makes me smile everytime I look at her...

and here is what really puts the biggest smile on my face... the nurse is taking her blood there... she is such a good little girl and just goes with the flow.  She is now up to 2.11 pounds.
