Do you Believe? (updated 09-10-10)

Thought I would give you all the good news... Mya now weighs 3.3lbs... she is still doing remarkably well,  still a little slow in the digestive department.  With that said, she is still gaining nicely.  She will stay put for another week or so.

We know she doesn't like her sponge bath... she screamed for the first time when Lisa gave her one... I can see we are going to have a little girl that is going to like making mud pies with Gramma... I may even get a gardening partner out this deal...lol

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I can't tell you enough how much I cherish all your sweet comments and concern.  I am so happy to have you in Mya's corner and for all your blessed prayers.  It is so comforting to know that I have such caring blog friends and I am thrilled you chose to share this wonderful event with us.

Hope you are all having a great day...
Big Hugs, Deb

Just a short post today... I just had to post this pic... I warned you all you are going to have to beg me to stop now... lol.

If you weren't convinced before that Mya was a little Angel... this might just convince you otherwise.
She posed for this all by herself... wouldn't you just love to pucker up and kiss those cute little lips.

Looks like she is staying put for another week or so, which makes me very happy.  She is still having some problems digesting Mommy's milk.  I am not surprised as they were really pushing the food intake on her little tummy.
Her Angels want her to stay put where she is getting the best of care.

Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend.

Hugs, Deb

I would kiss her all over, even those cute little toes! How sweet she is.
Everything happens for a reason. I'm glad she's where she's getting such great care!
thanks for the pic!

I have been reading your past posts about sweet baby Mya.
Recently (within the past 6 months)I have had 2 friends deliver babies under similar circumstances, one even requiring heart surgery within weeks of birth, I think weighing less than 3 pounds, maybe even smaller.
In both cases, everything is going wonderfully, better than ever expected. Babies are home, growing and being adored by extended families.
I wish the same for dear Mya.
My other sweet friend was less than 2 pounds when she was born - 13 years ago. Like all teenagers she has her challenges but lives as full a life as anyone else including friends and activities. She is an excellent student too.

As hard as it is for you not to be able to hold her right now, the time will come. I am sure she knows how much she is loved.

I have missed so much! Congrats Grandma! She is just adorable! I can't blame you for taking tons of pics of her. I don't think anyone would ever get bored of seeing that sweet angel! Post away! I hope that every day she just gets stronger and ready for those grandma hugs and kisses that I know you are saving up!
