Picture This...,

Well I am trying to get some things done this weekend but it just isn't in the cards for me... yesterday I got one of those duty calls... my GF Janet bought a gorgeous antique dining set and had her house ripped apart and screamed needed help... well that is the best call you can get sometimes... someone needs me... a few hours later we had it all put back together and she was a happy girl... besides she feeds me good stuff when I go to help...

today I am off to my nieces place to pick up some "OLD" stuff ... all I heard was "I have an old trunk" .... I will be there... so off I go to scoop up some new treasures...

this is what I did manage to get done this morning... when you get up before the birds there is loads of time in a day... don't you agree... plus we gained an hour... tell my body that tomorrow morning when I have to pull it out of bed at 5:15am... LOL

This is a frame that I found at the thrift store last week... of course again I forgot to take the before pic... it was green and gold... U..G..L..Y ... I dry brushed it black and rubbed it with Spanish Copper Rub-N-Buff ... viola a new frame... found the pic in a calendar... that is just so I can con someone into thinking it looks really nice to buy... LOL... just kidding folks...

this one was a cheap gold frame... my mother didn't like it so I re-vamped it for her... again black paint... dry brushed and Spanish Copper Rub-N-Buff applied... looks more bronze in person... I am sure Grammy will approve... this is my Grandmother when she was 16... what I wouldn't do to get my hands on that old squeeze  box... and wow she could really play it ...right into her eighties....
