Come along for a stroll...

Grab your ice tea,  it's time for a little escape from reality...

I am trying to convince Rose and Mike to meet us here for the weekend... now if all of you went over to her blog and pleaded with her that she needs a break, maybe she will listen and stay with us for a few days, or they can even rent this little cabin... she doesn't live far from here and we were going to try and hook up on the weekend to go treasure hunting.  Now I am depending on you folks to help me out here... I know collectively we can do it...

watch your step...

there are several of these little hideaways throughout the park

a little rust to keep it real... Rose, look at all that patina

I know you will want to come check out this bridge...

I wouldn't be true to my blog if I didn't show you just one trash to treasure piece...
this is the real meaning of a tree house... now isn't that clever

Rose look at the underneath... so easy but I am sure you need to come and take measurements...
I can see one of these in your my yard in the near future.

and the best part is it is a little bench...
of course we will make a pretty cushion for it...

I will even let you use my makeshift office...
it is the only place we can get a signal so you can keep up with your blog.

I promise by the weekend the temps won't be this hot.

I have a cold beer ice tea waiting, just for you...

Do you think it will take much more convincing now?

Hope you are staying cool wherever you are.
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by...

Hugs, Deb

I'm on my way over to convince Rose that she looks very tired and needs a rest and probably needs to restock her treasure since you used up quite a few last weekend. Hope it works.

I would so love to have a stream(or as we call it-a creek-pronounced crick)in my back yard. Even if it flooded once in a while! Great pictures. Made me relax and enjoy! Thanks......★ Linda ★

That is probably the only way Rose is going to get some R&R. I'll try to give her a little nudge also. It wouldn't take much for me to sneak away to a place like that.

Hi Linda... yeah you Americans do talk a little funny sometimes... hahaha... I am only saying that because I am getting killed over here with my Canadian accent.

I'm glad it made you it made you relax. Now if we can just convince Rose of the same thing, mission accomplished.

Thanks for stopping by.

It looks like a beautiful place to spend some quiet time. However if I were there, I'm sure I'd have a hard time coming out of the ac. :)
It's really miserably hot and humid here too.
take care!

ps I don't think rose ever slows down.

Heck I will come and you can call me Rose or whatever else you like. Now getting me to leave may be hard! Looks like a great place to get away to!

You are evil, girl! I got an e-mail from Denise telling me how worn and tired I looked and how much I could use a break.....I smelled a rat because I know she is just too polite to even suggest such a thing on her own. And sure enough, I come over here and see you're stirring the pot!
Better watch out, I see there's an imposter planning to come using my name. lol
Seriously, that place looks gorgeous and you are so close to Cooperstown too. That is such a beautiful area to be in.
Saturday will work for me, but not for Mike. We can shop in Bouckville and Caz and enjoy a nice afternoon at the campground. Then I'll have to be off to get ready for working on the kitchen project on Sunday. I got most of the tile done on the countertop tonight after work, hoping to grout it before the weekend. Last night I got the siding painted on the cooktop section.
I'm loving this weather so much! Looks like your makeshift office is working out pretty good for you.

Oh the beauty of it all! That tree house definitely has Rose's name written all over it : ) Sounds like she's got her plans set for the weekend, but what if her electricity "accidently" went out? Hmmm, I wonder where the plug to her house is : )
