It was so great to see Rose and Mike again... they are the best hosts you could ever ask for. Thanks Rose and Mike we had a blast.
While I was away, I got a message from my daughter stating that Mya was transferred to the hospital closer to her home. I would now be able to see my sweet little girl through a window. I couldn't wait, that was better than nothing. My sweet daughter decided to plead my case to the nurse in charge and she allowed Lisa to bring Mya into the family room where I could actually hold her. My day was complete. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. After 5 weeks of sheer torture, I was finally able to see my beautiful little granddaughter first hand.
She just keeps getting cuter everyday...
My prayers were answered...
My little peanut was finally in my arms...
This was the most wonderful feeling in the world....
My daugher holding her... gives you a better idea of how tiny she really is.
Sorry Lisa I didn't mean to cut your head off... my focus was a little distorted just then.... lol
Hope you all have a wonderful day everyone...
Hugs, Deb
Now pop over to Rose's and rattle her chain a bit to get moving on her post... lol

Ahhh Yay! Congrats! Hehe
Deb,
She is so beautiful and a blessing!! Your one lucky Grammie! =) I found your blog the other day and it touched my heart my friend just gave birth to twin girls 9 weeks early they weighed 3lbs and 4lbs and they are also in the NICU and she has been traveling 1 1/2 hours each way to see them!! It has been so exhausting for her and her husband, they provided a house close to the hospital for her to stay, but hubby has to drive to and from work so he is staying at home and it is so hard for them!! She is also pushing to have them moved closer to home when they are ready!! I wish the best of luck and all my prayers to your family! =) ((Hugs)) ~ Jan

Well Granny D, you look perfectly natural holding your beautiful grand daughter. What a wonderful thing to see. It makes me all mushy inside.
You are a stinker though, pushing me to post! I'll get on it and hopefully have something before we leave Friday. Now who's the slavedriver? ;)
