Our sweet little angel is growing up...

Howdy folks... sorry I have been MIA lately, not much to post about these days.

It has been awhile since I have updated you on our little monkey... so here's a glimpse of our cute Miss Mya.   She is such a sweet, happy little baby girl... but growing up way too fast.

Mya had her first cold last month.  She was such a trooper and has nicely recovered now and back to her sweet little self.  She didn't quite know what hit her as she had never been sick up to then.

She has caught up to where she should be in size and is far too smart for her own good...lol.  She adores Dora and loves to watch her as she rocks away in her chair.  She is getting stingy with the smiles these days or you could have seen all of her 6 teeth.  She hasn't decided to walk just yet, but it will be coming shortly.

where did the baby go?

look Gramma, no feet...

watching Dora... always has that tongue out... lol

just chillin in my new chair Gramma found me...

still have those gorgeous baby blues...

tormenting Tigger... but very gently

 so serious...

okay enough with the pictures...

can't you see I'm busy...

Poppi and I took her this Dora backpack on Saturday and she hasn't stopped playing with it since.  Doesn't take much to please them at this age.

I finally finished painting all the baseboards and doors in the kitchen... nope still haven't got to those cupboards yet.   However I did order the Command Max sprayer and I have 10 days off at Christmas, so I have a sneaky feeling something in my house is getting painted but I just haven't decided what's up next... I will keep you posted.

I am still trying to find some Christmas spirit, but it just isn't happening... I don't know if it has been the mild weather we have been experiencing, or what it is.  I haven't finished my shopping... no tree up yet... although I did manage to get few things out over the weekend.  I was hoping that would get me into gear, but it still wasn't working.  I am trying not to stress myself out about it, but this is ridiculous.  Does anyone have any dynamite I might borrow?.

Am I the onlyone feeling like this, this year?

This is my favourite time of year and I'm afraid it is going to be over before I even get started.

Got any good tricks up your sleeve?  How do you get in the mood?

Hope you are all having a great week.

Thanks for popping in...

Hugs, Deb

Hi Deb! Nope, you are not the only one feeling like this. I put some things out today, very little and not nearly as much as I usually do. No tree though, yet. Still debating on it. I bet you are looking forward to those 10 days off. Can't wait to see what you do.
And that little Mya, she really has grown! So adorable. Thanks for sharing the great pictures!

Take care hon and HUGS to you!

Look at that gorgeous girl! Is she a cutie or what? You can kinda see those new pearly whites in a few pics. I know what you mean about the spirit getting into thing, I cant get mine jumpstarted either. I put up the nativity which just sparked the "I need new pieces!" feeling. The tree is up thanks to the kids though. I have so much to do including all the shopping! Pass some of that dynamite over here!

ok, #1 , Mya pics, priceless! She is really growing up! What fun you will have with her this Christmas!
#2, Christmas spirit? It's hard to find without the snow, but for me it's triggered when Mike puts the outside lights up and I get my first glimpse of the house all decked out for Christmas. Thats when I want to make the inside Christmassy too!
#3, 10 days off in a row????Girl, I'm sooo envious! Can't wait to see what you get done.
Take care, and get decorating!!! Can't let me get ahead of you now, got it?

Hey Deb :-) Wow, all those expressions at such a young age. Mya certainly is a big girl now and what a cutie with those big beautiful blue eyes.
Well, put up a few Christmas decorations and see if that helps get you in the spirit :-)

Been away too long... your little Mya is almost a teenager! Can't believe how she's grown - what a sweetie. I hope you are spoiling her : ) Can't help you much with the Christmas Spirit this year... I have a tree up and that is going to be the extent of it. I think "simple" is okay once in awhile. Iowa Blessings to you and yours!
