The Road to A Friends House...

It's holiday time so Mr. D. and I decided to jump in the motor home and head East... destination still unknown... we work hard all year and look so forward to just getting away and having no real plans, Nomads for a couple of weeks... scoping the map I realized we were going right through the infamous Rose of Confessions of a Curb Shopaholic's neck of the woods...  the only definite stop along our journey... oh I was so excited I was counting down the miles...

The road to a friends house is never long...

Rose you gave us the wrong address... ????

can't be your house the garage is empty...

stoppppppppp.... we're there... I recognize the flag...

oh yes this has to be Rose's place...
you have no idea how close this was to coming home with me...

oh yeah we are here... one of Rose's curbed ladders... let the drooling begin

the famous tool box planter...
who would have thought of that other than Rose... and those chairs...
another kleenex please

knock, knock...where are you Rose... I am here to raid your garage... let us in...

oh nooooooo... the dreaded piece was waiting for me beyond the fence...
I will let Rose show you the big reveal...

the reward... hmmmm, I can still taste it... thank's Mike you "out"did yourself...

the other bribes... oh wait till you see what is in that green bag...  and old bed springs I have had them on my want list for so long... oh the fun I am going to have when I get home

there you are... let me tell you this woman never stops...

she is exhausting... poor Leo couldn't take anymore...

thanks Rose, my dear, dear new friend we had a blast...
I promise this is only the first of many good times to come...xo

Big Hugs, D & D

Oh Deb, you are too funny! When did you even find time to take those photos? I worked you nearly to death! Loving my newly decorated outdoor walls, they make me think of our visit every time I see them.
And the lamp was a big hit yesterday too.
I had a blast and the door is always open for you, next time I promise not to make you work for your dinner.
You guys were so much fun, have a wonderful vacation (hope you get some rest now)

Great pictures Deb. Glad you had a good visit. I am so envious of the old bed springs. I can never find them. Can't wait to see the reveal for the ugly lamp.

I can't wait to see what you do with the bedsprings, didn't know they were such a hot commodity! Try to stay cool.
