solid wood under that disgusting faux woodgrain paint..what were they thinking... the seat is a THICK pebbled vinyl... you know the kind that just loves to hang on to dirt like a dirty fingernail... YUCK... well that was the first thing to get ripped off...
and the bonus part... storage...
she is going to look so pretty once she is prissied up...
after 3 hours of sanding... and 2 hours of vacumning my garage later... it is ready to paint...
now I know what you are thinking... why would you sand if you are going to paint it... the faux woodgrain just flaked off with your fingernail... so I wasn't taking any chances... I don't want to be doing this twice.. better safe than sorry...

Hi Jan... thanks for leaving me some feedback... it is smaller than it looks in the pics...she is so cute... you are going to want it... LOL... I will post a pic when it is completed... not until next week though.
I can't wait to see what you do to this. I love the added bonus of the storage under the seat. Now what do you think one would normally put in it? I guess if you were using it as a vanity chair, you could put extra cosmetics and accoutrements.
