Tangerine Tango - Teaser (Mya update)

Have you been wondering where I have been and what I have been up to?

It involves a lot of this... not the tangerine itself but its rich, lush gorgeous colour.  When they presented this colour as the colour for 2012, I was ecstatic.  I have always loved this colour as much as I love the fruit.

This was just the inspiration I needed to get me motivated again ... I have been waiting a long time to get to this project... you see it's MY bedroom.

After much thought and turmoil... I decided to finally step out of my primitive comfort zone and go  a little wild this time.  Afterall, it would be nice to have at least one room in my house from the twenty first century.

I bargain shopped till I dropped... because I don't know any other way.  This time however I wasn't determined to make the Queen cry or settle on the "that will do" theory, because the price was right.  If I loved it and it was  reasonable, I bought it.. it was sure fun while it lasted.

Now, the time has come to get moving onto the manual labour part of this project.  I am hoping to get a good portion of that done this weekend.

So there you have it... now you know what I have been up to.  I really didn't fall off the face of the earth.

You say "WHAT! ...where are the pics?"  Those will be coming soon.  I promise not to hang you out to dry for too long.

The next step is to put everything in it's place...mark the holes I will be using... fill the holes I'm not... paint the room... pull it all together... take pics... blog about it... then relax and enjoy it.
