Little Bit of Everything...

It has been such a busy couple of weeks and weekends trying to fight the weather and get all the outside work done.  It is finally completed.... some visuals for you all... hope you enjoy.

First for all, for all you Mya fans out there... sorry I have been so remiss in posting updates... telling Daddy and dolly (Gramma bought her) a story...

chillin in her robe (that gramma found at the thrift store, NWT) with Mommy... waiting for her morning coffee...

Super Baby...

now I think I will just pose and look adorable...

She is doing great... she has outgrown all her preemie clothes and sleeping through the night. Yeap just like her Mommy, she slept through the night after one week home too... what more can you ask for.

this is a dresser I am re-doing for Mya... sorry forgot to take the before... the whole outside of the dresser was this baby blue colour... but we all know that colour is not for our little Mya...

these are the drawers after I took the painted knobs off and filled in the holes... gave them a good sanding... cleaned them with deglosser and painted...

I ordered these new handles for them on Ebay for $1.08/ea... the dresser will be completed next week.

new larger barn star painted and rusted... sorry can't see that part...
I decided to do the same colour instead of the black...
added the straps to the garage and then took them off again, too much hardware going on there...
good thing they are just magnetic... now pay attention to the lights on each side of the trellis...

they are gone... replaced with these

as you can see we literally ran out of daylight... I like these so much better.
this is the before of my side entrance... this is another one of those ideas I inherited with the house...
the light is on the right side, cut into the shutter...

do you remember all that wood we had left over, Jay did his magic again... I bought a new light and he changed the location... sorry these pics were just before dark and I was doing them in a hurry... I will try and get better ones later... I wanted to paint the screen door and the inside door, but the 54 degree weather they promised us yesterday was COLD, windy and rainy... I wish that weather guesser would get his story straight soon...of course today would have been a perfect day for it and I am stuck here at work...

Well folks that is what I have been up to these past couple of weeks... how about you?

Leo just wanted to remind you there are only 39 more shopping days until the big guy comes...

Have a great week...

Big Hugs,
Deb

Your handyman is just that, very handy. That entrance looks totally different and goes so well with the front of the house. Love the new color.

Hi Deb,
Glad I decided that I would check out some blogs tonight before calling it a day.....Seeing your beautiful granddaughter's pictures is a perfect way to end the day. I am hoping that later in the week or maybe next week I might get into the sewing room and get moving on the curtains.....don't want the girl to have bare windows! I love the latest photos of the house, the lights look great makes me wish I had new ones....I'll save those for next summer! It was great to see a post from you with a project you are working on, the drawer pulls are perfect!

Take care gotta get some shut eye!

Wow it looks great, what curb appeal. We haven't even started our outside. But, that baby tops anything. What a cute robe, too.Lezlee
